On August 12th from 6pm to 7pm, our member First Cambridge Capital, will be hosting a virtual meeting to discuss an exciting new project at 17 Story Street.
The project, which is outlined in the document here, consists of a full historic preservation of the Harriet Jacobs House, a small independent hotel, and roughly 45k sq. ft. of residential housing ranging from studios to 3 bedroom units. According to Atty. Patrick Barrett who represents First Cambridge Capital, the team has been working closely with the Cambridge Historical Commission; their first hearing is scheduled for August 14th.
They are not asking for any relief or aberration to existing zoning regulations and will be presenting to the Historical Commission to receive a Certificate of Appropriateness.
